While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

FORUM GUIDELINES
Before registering please read and understand the following guidelines:
GENERAL CONDUCT
Be nice. This is a friendly community – let’s keep it that way.
Respect differences of opinion.
No personal attacks on other users, even if you feel personally provoked.
Defamatory, obscene, indecent, lewd, pornographic, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening and harassing comments will not be tolerated.
ADVERTISING
Do not advertise horses for sale or anything else for sale, anywhere on the forum (even in response to Wanted ads). No reproducing for sale ads from elsewhere.
Do not use the forum as a marketing tool for yourself, your business, or anyone else’s business. Recommending products, services, websites, etc. is acceptable in response to relevant queries from other members, but not if it is for blatant self-promotion. Do not push your luck.

PRIVATE MESSAGING
The same conduct and advertising guidelines (above) also apply to private messages.
Private messages should remain private - do not repeat them publicly on the forum.
TEXT SPEAK
We now have a zero tolerance policy on text speak. Messages that contain abbreviated text speak in any form will be removed and persistent offenders will be given a private warning which will lead to the suspension of forum membership if ignored.
LANGUAGE
Please write clearly in plain English.
No long messages all in capital letters.
No messages with words continuously repeating letters.
Messages that are incomprehensible will be deleted without notice.
TOPICS
Post relevant, descriptive subject headings. Do not be vague.
Do not stray (too far) from the discussion topic. If you want to talk about something else, start a new topic.
Try not to let general topics of discussion descend into private conversations. It is boring for other members. If you want a private conversation, use private messaging.
AVATARS & PROFILES
Ensure that avatar images are no larger than 100 x 100 pixels. Avatar images may contain logos for businesses or organisations, but not advertising.
No web links are allowed in the Location field of your Profile.
Ensure that your Profile contains a valid email address, or your forum account may be suspended.
SIGNATURES
Automatic signatures are not available on this forum. Do not add you own signature to your posts or it will be removed by a moderator.
BUMPING / UPPING
Do not bump up posts unless you have anything meaningful to add. Messages that contain the words bumping or upping will be deleted without notice.
PHOTOS & VIDEOS
You may publish photos and videos within forum pages, subject to copyright. Ensure that the width of displayed images is no more than 800 pixels or they may be removed by a moderator.
COPYRIGHT MATERIAL
Do not reproduce third party copyright material, eg. published text and images, dressage tests / diagrams, professional photographers photos that you do not own. Use links rather than copying the material here. Do not distribute any copyright material via private messaging.
PRIVACY
This is a public forum. Be aware that any information you post publicly about yourself, your horses and your property is available for anyone to view, at any time, anywhere in the world.
Ensure that you respect the privacy of other individuals, their property and their horses in your messages - they may not want this information to be public (eg, their real name or where their horses are stabled). If in any doubt, get their permission first.
PRIVACY - PHOTOS & VIDEOS
Ensure that you respect the privacy of individuals, property and horses featured in the photos and videos that you publish in this forum. If your photos and videos feature other people, their property or their horses you should get their permission first.
PRIVACY - PHONE NUMBERS
Do not post any phone numbers publicly (stolen ads and shows/events excepted), use private messaging instead.
STRANGLES
References to specific locations in any forum posts about strangles are not allowed. It is better for all concerned.
ADMINISTRATION & MODERATION
The Administrator and Moderators reserve the right to edit, move, lock or remove any post or thread for any reason they consider appropriate.
If any member has a problem or dispute with another member contact the Administrator or a Moderator and they will try to help.
If anyone considers any post objectionable or defamatory, contact the Administrator or a Moderator and they will look at removing the offending message.
WARNINGS / FORUM SUSPENSION
The Administrator or Moderators will immediately suspend forum membership without notice for serious breaches of these guidelines, eg. blatant commercial advertising. However in most cases (eg text speak) a private warning will be given, which ignored will lead to suspension of forum membership and the possible banning of your public access to the entire forum.
