CRACKING 2 HORSE LEYLAND DAF LORRY

This wonderful two horse lorry (Leyland DAF FA LF 45.150 7.5 Tonne 2002) holds two large horses facing forward and has taken everything from 17.2 Irish Drafts to Section A colts - all travelling extremely well. Owing to its rare 16ft body, which can be turned on a sixpence, it truly is an ideal ladies box or for anyone stepping up from 3.5 tonne vehicle. It has a huge payload of 1710kgs and tilt cab for easy access. Extensive work has been done to ensure that this vehicle is reliable and mechanically sound e.g. new batteries inc. deadman, fuel tank, sump, break pads where necessary, windscreen wipers etc. A service history can be provided. It is regularly used to ensure that the engine is in good use. The ramp is easy to lift, as owing to a severe shoulder injury I have had to ensure the springs are good enough to close one armed! There is a skirt locker large enough to fit a big haynet and a couple of feeds, it is positioned so it does not interfere with the horses. The living, whilst not flash, has everything you need and is a clever compact space. There is large cut through to cab, huge luton to sleep two people, fridge, hob, grill, sink, heater, table that slots behind cab seat to create space, split charge leisure battery, opening windows with curtains/blinds, seat cushions. There is a 2 horse saddle rack kept in the living that can easily be unhooked to create space. There is storage available under the grill, seating and at a highline level. The horse area has rubber matting/ an internal light/rug rack/haynet and tie rings/opening windows with safety bars/ high impact walling/removable partition. This lorry flew through it’s plating in November and is road taxed until end October 2013. It is an absolute dream to drive and the horses love it. Located Junction 17 M6 Cheshire
