WELSH SECTION D MARE

Very sad sale so please no time wasters / day trips / daydreamers! Sadly made the decision to find Lily a forever home no novices as she is still green! Would suit a mother daughter share/someone looking for a forever horse to bring on themselves. Lily: 14.2 9 year old Welsh sSection D mare. She isn’t your typical Welsh, she is quite laid back and lazy but she does have her moments. She is safe but green, she was broken in just over 2 years ago but I just don’t have the time to bring her on. To hack she is great, doesn’t bat an eye lid at traffic but can have a spook at a bit of rubbish on the floor or a bit of grass blowing in the wind but the more she gets out the better she’ll get. On the lunge she listens really well - she’ll walk, trot and canter, she will go over poles/raised poles. She has long reined just not done a lot of it. To ride Lily is a lot more of a kick along at the minute I think with the right person and time put into her she’ll pick the pace up, she walks trots perfectly she does canter but she is more green when cantering she’s not got all the balance yet to keep it going and she might throw a leg to the side she doesn’t have the energy to go round the arena bucking or rearing. She doesn’t jump currently but I think she definitely will do in the future she just needs someone to give her a push now with her riding. She is great in the stable doesn’t bite or kick. Loves having a pamper, only problem is her back feet she isn’t a fan of having them picked out can pick her front 2 out and she’s fine she will happily let my farrier do all 4 feet I do have to have some carrots on me some days if she isn’t in the greatest mood but she’s a lot better to when I got her with them! I bought her from her breeder so she would like to stay in contact about her! Sold with tack and some rugs. Based CW6. Message me for anymore details.
